AI transparency
How we use artificial intelligence
Piazza in Festa collects events from the public records of Italian municipalities and from posters. To turn bureaucratic documents into readable pages we use artificial intelligence systems. Here we explain where they are involved, how we label generated content and how to report an error, in line with Article 50 of EU Regulation 2024/1689 (AI Act).
Event pages
Event titles, descriptions and practical information are extracted automatically from municipal records and posters with the help of AI. The sources are always official documents, but extraction can go wrong: check dates and times on the poster or on the municipality's website before travelling.
Guides and articles
Event guides are written with AI from the events on the calendar and are labelled as such. They cover real events, with links to the pages they come from.
Social content
Posts, stories and reels on our social profiles are composed with AI: the texts are generated, and in videos some scene-setting clips and the music are AI-created. Event posters and photos are real. Every piece of content carries the "con IA" label.
Translations
The English, German and French versions of the site are automatic translations of the Italian original, which remains the reference version.
Errors and reports
No content is invented: the AI always works on real sources (records, posters, published events). If you spot an error, tell us via the feedback form.
